There are three key messages to the campaign:
- Commit to your pet for life, no matter what happens in yours.
- Spay and neuter your pets immediately
- Don't breed or buy. Adopt a pet today.
The goal is to educate members of the community about the large number of animals euthanized in kill shelters every day throughout Maricopa County. Once we see this county adhere to The 90% Rule definition of "No Kill" we will take this campaign to other counties euthanizing animals in the country.

- The number of pledges received from people who promise not to breed or buy.
- The number of inquiries received about the campaign.
- The number of blog subscribers.
- The number of animals euthanized in Maricopa County pounds.
- Legislation passed to lower the numer of animals euthanized in Maricopa County.
